| - Luxury Theater? Chairs are amazing, the theaters themselves are nice, but the rest of the building is just meh... dirty old hallways and cheap bathrooms.
My favorite theater of all time is the Muvico Theater in Thousand Oaks California http://www.yelp.com/biz/muvico-theaters-thousand-oaks#query:theaters%20that%20serve%20alcohol -That one has a separate section for adults only, a full bar, cuddle seating, and allows you to bring in outside food (there's a restaurant and food court right outside). I had high hopes that Galaxy would be much the same, but it's not. The pros are of course that reclining chairs, the swing-arm trays for your food and drinks, the amazing leg room (love the fact that you don't even have to budge when someone wants to get by), and of course the fact that they serve alcohol! We shared one of their gourmet hot dogs which was truly tasty.
The cons, when you walk in, the concession stand is crowded, there's only one register for the bar so if you want a drink you'll have a bit of a wait. And my biggest complaint, the place overall looks cheap.
All the pricing is reasonable, the tickets, the food, the beer ($9.50 for a 32 oz. draft of choice)... I'm not complaining, just don't know that this place truly qualifies for 'luxury'. All that being said, I'm sure I'll be frequenting here, it's still one of the nicer theaters in the Las Vegas area.
