  • When I am downtown Madison I always think about Tipsy Cow. I am a sucker for a good beer, tasty fries, and the perfect chicken wing. They have a great craft beer menu that is always rotating. The menu isn't overwhelming but they have plenty of options for everyone. They also have outdoor seating when the weather is perfect in Wisconsin! If you like toppings on your fries this is the place to go. I believe they have 7 or 8 different types of loaded fries. The size is enough to share, or to have as a meal. Korean BBQ, Gyro, or Carnitas fries.... need I say more?? The chicken wings are big, non breaded, and perfectly done (in my eyes). I prefer an extra crispy wing, and these are exactly that. I am also a sucker for a dry rub which is exactly what the parmesan peppercorn is. Although I am not a fan of blue cheese dressing they are able to change that to ranch upon request. Oh and the specials are great!! You can't go wrong with 1/2 priced wings on Monday, and I highly recommend the PBR battered fish taco(s) for $3 on Thursdays!
