Bought a case of Thai coconuts, we were rung up and rushed out and the register clerk failed to give us a receipt. The coconuts are all moldy and we called to tell them to ask for an exchange and the "manager Alice" claimed they must not be from their store and that we must bring the receipt-the one we were never given -as we were rushed out, but I did pay by credit card and have the charge on my bank statement. The "manager" claimed she was not allowed to do register returns-what kind of bizarre place is this where the manager can't take returns? She accused us, over the phone, of not buying the coconuts from them-no where near us except Grand Asia Market sells cases of Thai coconuts. She was very argumentative and nasty and hung up on us when we asked for an exchange. Very unethical managers running this place. Go elsewhere if you can, no one needs this kind of aggravation when they are giving business to them. I wish i could give them no stars. One last, but important note, we felt they were also prejudice and had racially discriminated against our race since when we were in line and the person behind us was of the same nationality as the clerks and they were being very kind to her, while trying to rush us out by sticking their hands over the credit card machine and trying to punch the keys instead of allowing me to do it. This is a continual problem with them, whenever we come in we are given strange looks as if we are beneath them.
