| - Love this place. Reminds me of the vegetarian places in northern California.
I can't say enough good about it.
They will do vegan or vegetarian but don't expect animal meat here (they do have eggs and dairy cheese available as well as tofu, tempah, and other high protein items).
Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh.
You get a fair amount of food (often we take some home).
The bread is outstanding made from ancient grains.
The food has wonderful taste combinations (e.g. a side salad of cabbage and carrots had fresh ginger in it that made a big difference).
How they prepare the food and the taste combinations is what really makes the food great.
They will customize things for you when they can, drinks and food, and can easily accommodate the standard food allergies.
Their hours vary, sometimes they are open in the evenings, sometimes only breakfast and lunch. Weekend brunch is the busiest so there might be a wait and occasionally on a later evening they have been slow but brought out free tortilla chips which was nice.
They have all sorts of coffees & teas & specialty drinks (hot & cold), and a case full of deserts, so they are also good to stop by for a coffee.
Dogs are welcome in the outside tables.
One last nice plus, they are a drop off spot for organic farmer co-op shares - sunizonafamilyfarms, where you can get a standard share or pick and choose each week what items you want to order.
We used to stop by about once a week, enough the staff got to know us. But now we get a farm box and are there a couple times a week - just a nice side effect.
