  • My rating is probably more of a 3.5 and might improve to a 4 if I go back and have a better experience than I had yesterday. I've been here twice, once when there was zero wait and then yesterday, when I waited 20 minutes just to place my order because they were understaffed(?) and there were only two people on a Saturday afternoon and about 25 people in the shop. The young lady(man, that makes me sound old) behind the counter, making the drinks, did acknowledge me and let me know it would be a few minutes, so I hung out. Then I hung out some more and some more. Luckily I'm super patient, but I could see how anyone in a rush would be annoyed. That lady behind the counter was busting her ass making the drinks, though. I saw cups flying and blenders going and she was on top of it all, but I felt bad for her. After I waited about 20 minutes, two guys showed up and one dropped his backpack behind the counter and took my order right away because he could see it was backed up. So, I finally got my order in. They let me redeem the free topping coupon for checking in on Yelp, no problem. Besides the wait, the employees are very friendly and want to help(help by getting to work earlier.) The shop is small and clean and their menu has a ton of drink choices. It can almost be overwhelming, so step back a moment and take it all in. The first time I went I ordered an iced milk tea with boba(yeah, yeah, basic), and yesterday I went a little wilder and I got a blended chai, 25% sweet(I love that you can customize the sweetness!), with egg custard on the bottom. Okay, y'all, this is my new favorite drink. The chai was perfect and I'm glad I reduced the sweetness because the chai flavor was enough. The egg custard wasn't super sweet either, but a lovely texture. I will definitely be getting this again in the future. I hope the wait is shorter next time because this place is close to my residence and I need my chai and egg custard! Worth a try if you're in the area.
