  • In case you are thinking of switching internet/cable providers, here's a rant you need to hear (otherwise, it's just a rant you really don't need to hear, lol!). DO NOT USE CenturyLink, unless you want to waste precious moments of your life trying to convince them of their lies. The "nice" salesman came to our door and told us our bill would be x amount, EVERY MONTH (when he comes to your door, DO NOT BELIEVE HIS PROMISES). Within a short time, it was increased by over $50, for no reason (they couldn't even explain this to us themselves). When you call Centurylink to resolve the matter like a decent person, they take advantage of your time and patience, and transfer you from department to department, around and around, and back to the previous department. Once you think you've gotten it resolved, and they make their false promises again, they just bill you again for the wrong amount, and you're back in the crazy cycle with Centurylink again. Also, they'll only speak to you during weekday business hours. Just stick with Cox and keep your life simple. We could call Cox any time, day or night, and always got helped right away. The product quality is equal, and the lower rate Centurylink offered is a lie.
