| - I decided to take the baby girl here for her very first mani and pedi at a nail salon. I live all the way across town but what drew me to this spot is that they have the cute little butterfly chairs for the girls. I mean, how adorable is that?!? I figured, what a nice photo op for her very first salon visit.
Now her experience itself, was great. For $20 she got the full kiddie mani and pedi. She loved the whole experience from dipping her feet in the bubbly water, getting her feet lightly scrubbed and then getting her toes and fingernails done. She was definitely in her element....which probably isn't a good thing for me, especially if she keeps asking for more ;)
Now for myself, I also got a gel mani and pedi. The customer service I received was great. Leslie and Johnny were so friendly and easy to talk to. Leslie did my pedicure and Johnny did my gel manicure. My only gripe is that after two days, my gel manicure started chipping and cracking. Two days is just way too fast for this to happen, especially for a gel manicure. Luckily the polish I chose was very light so the cracking is not very noticeable.
I can't say I plan on coming back. But who knows, maybe if I'm in the area and I'm looking for an impromptu nail day with baby girl, I might come by again. But other than that, I might just look for something closer to home.
