| - After a long afternoon on the beach I was pretty hungry and southern food served on a patio seemed like just the thing. I ordered the fried chicken.
I got a big plate with three pieces of fried chicken (it seemed to be a breast and two thighs), a dish of mac and cheese, and a helping of collard greens. The chicken was pretty good -- moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside, although in places the coating was inexplicably sweet, not really what I was expecting. The mac and cheese was creamy and mild and the collard greens were crunchy and, well, green-tasting. The patio was dark pleasant despite the giant bright tv taking up one wall.
I was only able to finish about half of my food, and the server boxed up the rest for me. I spent the next morning day-dreaming about my left over chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens. But, when I cracked open the styrofoam container, the greens where nowhere to be found! What's the deal Harlem? I want my collard greens back ...
