| - The Playboy Club - Las Vegas is one of those places you just have to go to, if for no other reason than to say you've been. Get a drink, watch the crowd, take a few pictures to commemorate the momment, and then - - head to the Ghost Bar. The bunnies are adorable, but there is no where to sit save a few seats at the bar. And I mean a very few seats. Those few seats have gaming whatchamajiggers, the rest of the tables all have "reserved signs" on them, and the rest of the space is taken up by blackjack and gaming tables at $50 a bet. So really, in my opinion, the vibe here is about getting as much money from folks as possible. Obviously, that's the *general* vibe in Vegas to be sure, but most places at least offer a place to sit and have a $16 dollar martin without not-so-subtley pushing the gambling. I am sorry to say that because I love The Girls Next Door featuring Hef and his main girls Bridget, Holly and Kendra. Girls - - nothing personal!
The staff is friendly, the crowd the usual mix of tourists, business men and local players. It was absolutely worth the visit and the $16 martini. Go, Hef!
