I go to this gym at 5am or 6am for training and am always welcomed by a friendly and sincere employee who greets me and wishes me a good day. This is 5 stars alone since at LVAC the greeting is rushed, rarely have eye contact, and insincere. I don't know her name but the lady who works early mornings I will surely miss her since my trainer has moved.
I have to say I don't think this gym is for everyone. I used to come here when it was 24 hour fitness and a lot brighter. Now it is dark, very very dark. Personally I like that for early morning workouts. I also like that there is room to work out without having to wait on machines etc. I'm not sure what it is like in the evenings but I love this gym at 5-7am.
They have a boxing room that I want to say used to be a basketball court. I'm not sure if trainers take clients in there or if they have classes, but it's always empty when I'm there. They also have some pole classes I believe since there's a room with poles. The pool is empty, I wonder if anyone goes in it. The group fitness classroom needs some updating and is small.
I think this gym works for those that like more space to themselves and don't want to deal with annoying gym people. There's a few odd birds here, a woman who sounded like she was giving birth to a small mammal while doing push ups and a man who stretched with a rather large stick about 7 foot tall stick. There is also the trainer who stretches people out on a massage table and people are twisted like a pretzel. The videos playing are a bit odd. They don't match with the music playing.
I may consider this gym if I lived closer.
