Incredibly disappointed! First time we tried this restaurant. We went as it's on the Phoenix Fine Dining program - what a waste!
My husband and I went with our two kids. I will state - overall, the food was good. However, what ruined our experience was all the waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Wine selection NOT good. Prices - generally - over priced. We ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals....the adult meals took over an hour to be delivered! We were told *sorry we are busy*...ah, it's a sat night - your staffing issues are not our issue. So our kids ate before our food even came! Unreal.
We asked for a manager. Our server told us - she's busy - she will get here when she can. Well - at some point - some woman (who doesn't appear to be a manager) - approached our table started talking with us. Didn't introduce herself - so we were confused. When we finally asked - oh are you the manager? She told us - do you think I am some stranger that would come up and start talking with you? Well - who knows? I didn't know who you were. She was rude - just kept apologizing for *they are so busy* there was a party of 16 in the back. Wanted to argue with us and I think I actually said well this was a waste. Again - your being busy or having staffing issues (big hiring now sign outside) not our issue. We asked 3 times where our dinner was.
Proof is in the pocketbook. After all of that - not even one comped drink. Simply unreal - we had to order more drinks since we WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED - and you can't comp ANYTHING?!?!? Seriously??
Restaurant is not designed well. Very crowded - a lot of patrons were constantly trying to figure out how to get out since tables are so close together and no room to walk.
It was our first time here - and our last time. Oh and the caviat.....I gave them our diner's card in the beginning - they forgot to bring that with the check or discount our meal per the program.
Scottsdale has I think over 100MM restaurants.....too many good ones to visit this one again!:((
