Let me set the scene... Coming back from the Packers vs Panthers game. The trip is interminable. As we get closer to home we realize we are starving and need to grab take-out or else we will die.
My Pakistani guy suggests Maharajah East. There are 3 of us. We order two orders of Samosas, naan, parantha, chicken mougali, and palak paneer. We swing by, grab the bag and before you know it we are seated at my table unwrapping our treats.
This is no easy crowd to please. We taste the crispy samosas which are filled with mashed potatoes and peas. Dipped in tamarind sauce they were downright heavenly. We nod silently in approval. We move on and find each dish to be equally yummy. The palak paneer (creamed spinach and cheese) was quite spicy and the mougali was very similar to tikka masala. Both dishes were quite rich. The naan and paratha were used to wipe up every last bit. As a treat, the restaurant threw in two little servings of mango ice cream. Thank you very much!
A great meal to end a great day. Go Pack!
