| - DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I scheduled my initial exam and cleaning. The office called me a week prior to my appointment and said "Oh, that Dr. actually won't be in that day we need to reschedule you". If they call a week in advance, I doubt it's an emergency and just a mistake by the office. I went in for my cleaning and exam. Dr. Montoya (one of the newer dentist) told me that one of my cavities was pretty bad but she'll "try and save it from a root canal". From what I read below, that seems to be something that happens often in this office. They charge you for cavity fillings knowing you'll eventually have to come back in for a root canal. She did the same exact thing to my little brother. I got my cavity filled and she continues to tell me that if I start to experience any pain or discomfort to come back in and I'll probably need a root canal. I started to experience pain and discomfort so I made another appointment to come back in. Only to have it rescheduled AGAIN. The office made the mistake of booking my appointment on a holiday on which they will be closed. I schedule my week around these appointments so it is very inconvenient to have them rescheduled for stupid mistakes. I go back in to see the same doctor. She very quickly looks at my teeth and says the filling is "too high" and that it just needs to be shaved down. I was in and out within 10 minutes. I was still experiencing pain so I had to back in for a third time! Another doctor looks at my filling and says the filling is still too high, it needs to be shaved down, but i'll still need a root canal! I booked an appointment for my root canal THE VERY NEXT DAY. The next day, the endodontist looks at my teeth and says we can't do the root canal because I HAD A TOOTH INFECTION!!!!!!!!! It took 4 visits, 3 different doctors, and weeks of excruciating pain to figure out I had a tooth infection. Who knows if i was given the tooth infection from the office or if I had it this whole time and everyone was just missing it! So again, my appointment had to be put off until the infection cleared. I booked my root canal and my crown back to back just to get it all out of the way. Upon arrival to appointment they tell me they only have me booked for the root canal!!!! Yet another mistake by the office! I explained my absolutely terrible experience to the office assistant manager, and they were able to get me in for both procedures. The whole office knew I would be waiting about an hour inbetween procedures but failed to tell me and just let me wait. For the cherry on top of this experience, I got my temporary crown not even 2 days ago, and it has already fallen off. And I have been very cautious of what I've been eating, not flossing on that tooth, etc. just so I wouldn't have to go back in for any reason until my official crown was in. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD GO TO. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GO HERE.
