| - EHHH, I have definitely had better.
Before we left Nevada, we wanted to grab some American breakfast. My friend lives in Henderson so we decided to give this place a try 608 reviews, 4 stars, whoa. We came there around 12 PM and did not get seated until 1 PM for a part of 4 even though we were told the wait time was only 30 minutes. We noticed there were outside seating and asked if it was quicker to sit outside, the hostess stated yes but that was false. I find the way they seat their guests is extremely flawed which is why the wait is so long. Instead of sliding two tables together to make a table of 4, they would go through the list and seat those whose party is only 2. So they decided to sit all the smaller parties first after pushing a bunch of tables together before seating us. In the end, they sat us at a table that were pushed together. If you were going to do that then why did we wait for over 30 minutes to get seated AFTER you had already sat everyone else who came AFTER us? Makes no sense.
We sat down and the waiter took a bit of time to get to us. We ordered the Banana Cream Pie, Hawaiian Macadamia nut pancakes, Lola Cora's corned beef hash and eggs , loco moco, and their signature adobo fried rice, hash browns, and potatoes. I was told by our waiter that everyone seem to prefer the Lola Cora's corned beef hash and eggs but I didn't see the hype. The corned beef was not well seasoned and tasted very bland. I ordered it with garlic rice and the rice came out soggy and bland as well. I felt the need to drench it in soy sauce or add my own pepper and salt seasoning or ANYTHING because it was so bland. It came with a baby stack of original pancakes which was good. Their signature adobo fried rice was wrapped in an omelets and it came with the options of country potatoes or hash browns. The hash brown was delicious! It was crunchy and fried to perfection. The adobo fried rice itself was okay. There wasn't much texture to it. The banana cream pie was super buttery and sweet. The Hawaiian pancakes were a 3/5 since I have had better. I wish they had added bananas because it would have definitely complete the dish. The loco moco was a huge disappointment. The sausages were a little hard and as previously mentioned, the garlic rice was super soggy. The gravy sauce that came with it was good however I wish all the other components on the plate was equally as tasty.
Overall, I don't see the hype. Customer service were nice however the wait made it not worth it. Food was mediocre.
