| - Can I give ten? Guess not. For all you nay-sayers before me, you need to get a grip. THIS IS AN AIRPORT, and nothing in an airport is going to be what you might find in your local neighborhood! With a 1.5 hour wait for my next flight, I made my way to gate C2, I noticed directly AFTER my gate (and keep in mind, C1 is the end of the line), a sign that said "Irish pub" and since this is my kind of go-to joint at home, I perked up. I am used to seeing airport bars packed, and I was really happy to see this place with a sprinkling of people who seemed to appreciate the environment: dark wood, Guinness, Harp, etc. on tap and a bartender eager to please.
I ordered a Guinness, and Jen the bartender signed the foam nicely! Real live Irish people were sitting next to me and seemed to have no complaints about the lack of full restaurant menu, so I think we are OK here. Lighten up, people. This is a fantastic discovery at LAS; possibly, the best airport bar ever. Just what I needed.
