| - I'm giving this place three stars because the croissants and sandwiches are delicious.
I haven't tried the coffee, so I won't comment on that.
I've been here a few times, and I think the place has really gone downhill. The prices do not reflect the quantity or quality (except for maybe the sandwiches, which are great). I bought a salad, sandwich, and bag of cookies, and paid $20. I thought it was a bit absurd, as the salad consisted of four slices of tomato and the same amount of cheese. It looked so small that I assumed they just forgot to fill it up and went on to do something else. Nope, that's the actual size. The girl was kind enough to add some more to give me a normal-sized salad. The salad was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it. It would be infinitely improved if it had basil instead of cilantro in it.
Don't even think of buying the bagged cookies at the front. While they were stingy with the quantity of salad, they were overly generous with the quantity of sugar in the cookies. They were so sweet nobody at my office wanted to eat them, and these people will eat anything. Not something you would expect from a bakery.
It's a cozy little place that has the most adorable little patio out back. That's about it, really.
