  • If you have an appreciation for dolls and the way they spark littles' imaginations then this is the place for you and your little. Hospitality here is always super helpful and the dolls and the creativity is endless. I have a huge appreciation for creativity since I have none and I am always so impressed with the attention to detail many of these dolls have. If you are not familiar with this toy, in summary, American Dolls are dolls that come with strong character stories most often with some type of American association: meaning there is everything from a doll from New York from the 1800s and she or HE comes with a story and a particular look to dolls that represent the 'NEW' about toys - especially for girls: meaning these dolls have a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) association. The best one is Luciana Vega. She is an astronaut doll set to explore Mars. She runs $115 and her Mars Habitat runs $350. Also there are dolls that represent every kind of skin tone, hair type and almost every culture so that your little can get a doll that looks like her. These dolls are called "Truly Me." This lookalike approach opens the door for matching outfits for your little and his or her doll, from cowgirl looks to pajamas. Prepare to spend a considerable amount of time in here, looking and admiring all the dolls and their outfits and themes. Not willing to shell out the coin for the American Girl or Boy doll quite yet or is your little maybe too little for a full 18" doll? Then check out the WellieWishers which is a smaller version of the American Girl doll and has a very cute garden theme associated with the doll. Is your little still into the baby-style dolls? Try Bitty Baby. This store also has a salon where you can drop your doll off with matted hair and pick her up with a brand-new do: your choice of style and hair accessories. One of the best parts about this store is their Bistro. You can make reservations here and get a high-quality meal. Make reservations! Surrounded with beautiful pinks and more pinks, this bistro is great for birthday parties, tea parties, just lunch and the like. The bistro is set up with chairs for the dolls to sit at the table with you and also the Bistro staff provides little plates and cups for the dolls as well. Happy Exploring!
