  • Stayed at the Rio this weekend and will be my last visit at this hotel. Canceling my Total Rewards card and will be staying at a non Caesars entertainment hotel and casino going forward. I visit Vegas 2 to 3 times a year and usually stay at the Rio and this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Upon entering my room I was greeted with a large wet stain on the couch. I shrugged it off and went down to the casino. While walking down the hallway on the 15th floor in the Ipanema tower I noticed that EVERY SINGLE light fixture was either missing or damaged as if someone put their hand through it. There also a large piece of molding laying on the ground that used to be on the wall. I called up the front desk and I had to deal with 3 people passing the buck for 15 minutes until all I got was excuses with a dismissive attitude. Left to hit the strip the following day and upon coming back to the room I was greeted with a pair of latex gloves sitting on the bed. Pretty nasty. While gambling at the roulette table I asked for 2 bottles of water and as the cocktail server brought back my order I asked her if she could break a 20 so I could tip her and she said she couldn't and got all pissy and walked away. Later that night I was at the wheel of fortune slots smoking and here comes the same rude waitress walking by and throws an ashtray on the counter next to me and says I might want to use an ashtray. lol. Finally I went to complain about my stay and all I got was ok we will address that and sorry. What a joke and not how you take care of your best guests. Find a better casino hotel to stay at. The Mirage is awesome on all levels.
