I wished I had the ability to use a zero star rating. I think the people who posted positive comments are SHILLs. I came into contact with this company because my Home Warranty assigned them as the contractor for my repairs. They called me fairly timely after being assigned - maybe 24 hours. We had to wait 1 week due to their schedule for the initial inspection to take place on a Thursday. I called the following day on Friday to check on what needed to be done. I was told what the diagnosis was for each appliance and that parts needed to be ordered for 2 of the 3 appliances. I was also told that the manager had to phone the home warranty for authorization before they could order parts. This was expected. I asked if he could please do so that day & I was told he would. Not receiving any updates over the weekend, I called on Tuesday of the following week at 8:30 am. Was told that the same manager was in a meeting and that he would call me back. Their system showed no signs of him ever calling for approval on Friday nor Monday. I never received a call back on Tuesday. Following day at 8:30 AM I call and speak to the same person from Friday (The only female in the office). She says he's not in yet and has no idea when he'll be in. I told her the importance of getting this authorization done as I have tenants in this home waiting to be able to use a washing machine. Also it's a section 8 home and I have an inspection coming up where these items MUST be fixed. She nor anyone else in the office had any clue of when "Russell" would be in. I asked her if she could call this manager named Russell and she says that since he's also the owner, that he can come and go as he pleases. She offered to text him, but admitted she didn't see what help that would do since he's not there in front of a computer. I asked her what I should do since their owner is not accountable and she hung up on me.
It appears that having an absentee, unaccountable owner is the root cause of this businesses failures.
I reported them to my home warranty company. They say they are stuck until this contractor reports to them the diagnosis and asks for parts approval. At this point, 1 full week after the inspection, All Desert Appliances has still never reported my diagnosis nor asked for authorization to order parts.
I don't post negative reviews unless something really affected me in a major negative way. Customers should not have to track down a manager who turns out to be the owner because he doesn't feel that returning calls and following through on service calls is an important part of the business. How would you like it if you were sitting for now 2 weeks with the inability to wash clothes. That is simple stuff. How about all the time you waste of mine because I have to keep following up with your neglect. We all have jobs to do sir - DO YOURS!!!
