| - This was our first time here, and due to the exceptional service and quality, we stayed another night.
Upon walking in, we were greeted by Stanley at check-in with a warm smile. You know how sometimes people are nice out of obligations, or because they are after a potential tip? Stanley was neither of these, he was genuinely interested in helping you enjoy your stay by providing world class professional service. He was courteous, helpful, and has an infectious smile.
The lobby smelled clean (what??? In Vegas???) due to the fact that there are no smoky casinos attached. If you are a player, they have a shuttle that leaves regularly to the casinos. I like the division of church and state, staying here could potentially save you thousands of dollars!
The room we booked was spacious and bed comfortable. It had a pullout sofa also, which we didn't use. The refrigerator was a full sized one, and I can see how the kitchen can come in handy! They do not provide pots/pans/server-ware (I believe you can request) so plan accordingly.
The shower had good pressure despite being on a higher floor (45th), and we also enjoyed the spa. We liked the spa so much that we went back again. What can I say? I'm a spa connoisseur. The only thing (no big deal) is no jacuzzi. However, do not worry, there are 2 by the simple yet elegant pool.
Tip: Pool is great for morning swim due to how quiet it is. Water temperature is 82. :) I was fortunate enough to wake up, work out at the gym then finish my cardio off with a few sets of swim!
Leo at the spa gave me one of the most relaxing massages! I typically go with a female masseuse, but he immediately put me at ease, and I would book him again next time without hesitation. The price was reasonable ($160+ $25 off with checkin voucher) especially for the quality I received. Just remember they add tip automatically so if you prefer to give cash (like I do), tell them ahead of time. The spa also has one of the nicest smelling candle collections I've seen.
Parking is valet only (complimentary) but fashion mall is across the street, so you can easily walk across. I love that Nordstroms is immediately across the street!
Overall I am so happy to have found this gem. We typically stay at Palazzo, Encore or Bellagio, but we were perfectly happy here! The hotel is also at the end of the strip, so traffic will not impact you much!
