| - With the recommendations of two separate locals, we knew Viva Las Arepas needed to be a stop. It was a hearty one!
Two of us split 4 arepas, and that was a lot. Three is probably fine. Then again, when I think about the 4 we got, it'd be hard to choose 3 of the 4. They were all delicious! We got 4 of the ones marked as "chef's special": wood fire beef, wood fire chicken shredded, reina pepiada (chicken with avocado, mayo, and cilantro), and pabellon (plantains, cheese, black beans, beef). Seriously, delicious. Hard to choose a favorite; each were distinct with rich flavors. The reina pepiada was very unique, so I'd definitely suggest getting that.
Prices range from $5-$7 each, which I felt was a good price given the amount you got.
Chill, local spot and relatively quick meal. Check it out! Erp.
