Received a coupon in the mail and decided to try Valaries as it's closer to home than our regular groomer and the reviews were so positive. Made an appointment over the phone and when we showed up at the appointed time we were not in their " book" . After some discussion they did take our dog in however the interaction with the front desk person was poor- she was eating a candy bar while asking us for our information and she had chocolate all over her including the pen she gave me. We had the coupon for the full service package in hand and asked us what package we wanted - again we said the package we had the coupon for- finally older woman - assume this was Valarie- came out and spoke with us and we got things cleared up- when we went to pick up our dog again front desk staff was not very friendly and we quickly took out dog home- upon inspection we found several area where his fur was trimmed in a choppy manner - especially around his face - overall the experience was weak and even though we can walk to this place we will stick with our regular groomer - advice to the owner - train your staff on how to talk to customers , how to take appointments and not to eat or drink at the desk
