  • Came for the omakase here in September - perhaps the most humbling and spectacular experience I have ever had. Still thinking about that meal, months later. Planning a return trip to Las Vegas in the spring, was desperately hoping to return to Omae - but having some trouble getting in touch with the restaurant (i.e. Takeshi-san and his wife) - the online reservation system used previously is down, and the phone number here (and on the restaurant's website) goes straight to voicemail (strangely, of a different number). I really, really, really hope that this is just some tech snafu or well-deserved vacation, and not the end?
