I've grown up with animals my whole life and I've personally cared for three cats (indoor), and two dogs. I thought the vet I already had was great (I was ignorant to the possibility of another vet being better hahaha.)
Side note: I have a cousin who works in the field, she's looked at the medical records and has told me that they were giving my pets shots/meds that they didn't REALLY need (a cash grab.)
I started to question why my cats bills were always as high as they were since they were indoor cats and once I moved closer to the east end, transferred all of the animals in my household to Dr. Black. Am I glad I did or what!
They were frank with me and also confirmed what my cousin had said when I asked.
Since then I haven't looked back. Even my dog doesn't get freaked out when we're in the waiting room.
Dr. Black and Bobby are lovely to talk to (we haven't met anyone else yet but I'm sure they're lovely too!) We often find ourselves staying way longer than we expect during our visits because we end up swapping stories about animals or we're in a q & a session.
Dr. Black and his staff really care about their patients. There's never a rush to get clients in and out the door because they take their time and I really appreciate that.
If you want your pets in the hands of warm caring people, go to Dr. Black!
