| - When I left the Europin Tailor, the Husband (the male manager) told me, if I am happy with them, make sure I tell friends and family, if not happy, tell them and they will fix the problems. I left their place with improved alterations(my third visit for the same alternation). They can tell I started to get confused (hard to believe) about what happened..... I thought this couple(owners) has many good reviews on Yelp! What happened to me must be an accident....
The story started few weeks ago, I went to the Europin Tailor to change sleeves of my clothes (one Spyder jacket, one Under Armor workout shirt, and two Uni Qlo hoodies). For the thicker ones(see photos, not that thick),22USD for sleeves alternation of each, and 18USD each for the thinner ones(see receipt photo). I thought that was expensive compared with other tailors. But the guy said they are from Germany and certainly guarantee the quality of their tailor work (very soon I found out the WORK QUALITY is from east Germany before the wall was turned down~~~~~~ poor!) The day I picked up my alternations I was in a rush to FedEx before it close, I noticed the sewing of Spyder jacket wasn't straight. They said no problem they will do it again without charge. But their tailor got off from work, I had to get back and pick up once again. When I got home I had a better look of other pieces! OMG! None of them were straight! (See pictures). I found it hard to believe, Even worse when I turn all the sleeves inside out :) (see pictures please). My husband said that was a joke! He said we should go back together to talk to them, considering from Mountain's Edge to the Europin Tailor is 25mins of driving. Well, I made it back a week later without him (the heat of our first summer in Las Vegas has made him losing temper easily. Plus I didn't think I need protection)
When I pick up my Spyder I didn't take the other problem sewings with me, I left it in the car. After I got my jacket, I showed them pictures on my phone that I took of the problem sewings. They both acted like they were shocked (sure no one do the supervision work before it get to the costumers' hand). They said sorry! The guy gave me 15 dollars. I didn't take the money. Instead I said I would appreciate if they could fix everything. So the deal was made! That I went to a coffee house to kill time for 30 minutes, they will make everything right! And they did! Much better sewing! I was quite pleased with the look of it after the third trying!
You probably wonder why I would still write this review.... A grudge holder? No! I've just found three little holes(poked by something sharp and tiny)on one of my sport top! And that was new! I have never wear it before this sleeves alternation! (My husband said never complain for a second time in a restaurant, since they might spit on your food)..... I can't provide any prove on the connection of these holes with this place. But I thought this review and the pictures of the poor looking sewings will certainly make them do better in the future. Or at least reminds people to turn their clothes inside out and check it before leaving this store!
