Let's see! Where do I start? I work for an Urgent care and am not the customer but here is my story. The doctors office across the way brought the customer over at 5:30pm seeing as the close at 5pm and we are open until 7pm. So the customer is patiently waiting in out lobby. at 5:45 she called the transportation company to get an updated ETA. She was told 45 min. She continued to patiently wait knowing we were open until 7pm and should have plenty of time. By 7pm, I start talking to her to find out if she had an idea of when AAA cab would arrive. She started talking to me about the whole scenario. She said she called earlier in the day for her ride to her Dr.'s appointment and they were extremely late picking her up. She said she had called around 4:30pm for her ride home and was given a 45 min ETA. So I asked if she wouldn't mind me calling on her behalf. I called the transport company who told us 5 min, that was at 7:22pm. I called the transportation company back 10 min later and by 7:57pm was told that they couldn't give an ETA and that they had lost control. Needless to say the transportation company had to assign another company. Meanwhile the patient has waited as long as she has and because it is 110+ degrees outside my coworkers and I waited with her. After 12 hour shifts and the pt's long day, we are all still waiting for a ride at 8:30 pm. No one should ever have that much run around. Worst service I have ever heard of and experienced in my life!
Should be no stars but had to give something in order to post.
