This store has been around forever. A few years ago, there simply weren't too many grocery stores around and the Loblaws half a block north sucked about as much. Now the Loblaws has upped their game, there is a Longos next to it and a Sobey's no too far away. You'd think Jim and his crew would start trying a bit harder but no, during my recent visit to the store (why did I come here in the first place? oh yes, my wife needed to get a subscription filled at the drugstore next door) it felt as if I was thrown into a time warp and ended up 10 years ago...only with a bit more gray hair.
So why would anyone visit this store? Only because they don't have the time or the means to drive to another one a bit further away/
