1st generation WM Owners with TravelShare has the 90 WM's. Have travel exchange with RCI. Have Bonus time, etc. BUT **don't** have Wyndam Club Pass exchange, WYN Reward Credit Card, and Exchange to Europe NOVASOL40,000 sites(According to Wyndham sales rep)???? A Fib on WCP exchange to sell Wyndham credits?.
At Breakfast Meeting very nice presentation talking about all the New Offerings. Forementioned plus. After Breakfast we were Shuddle into the Many Agent Sweat Room. There various agents "Convincing you to CHANGE TO WYNDAM PLAN... Conversion Needed". Think. Conversion needed!!!!
After half hour of Pleasant Q n A.... on new Benefits. The Manager shows up saying we had first generation WM. That to receive Wyndam Many Benefits we need to convert WM credits to WYN/WM credits. Minimun purchase is 10,000 credits at $3.31 per. And that WYN/WM 2nd generation needs total Balance credits of 20,000. Cource for many a Bump 10,000 credits cost $33,100 and will push you to over the minimum 20,000 credit needed to have Windam Club Pass exchange, Wyn Visa Card, NOVASOL exchange rights. Think study carefully your new Maintenance fees, Cost rates, RULEs, etc. Think Q n A careful on this. Please Do!
Understand. Once you convert. You are a Wyndam credit Owner. Their rules applies. Including Future New Rules and encompassing benefits. Conversion to such an new Animal scares me. I Emphasize! SCAREs Me. Please goggle Wyndam Conversion stories. True experiences all over the web. Some good. Some Scary, Seriously Scary!!!! And... you no longer Worldmark Credit Owners. Think about that Closely.
Worldmark Tropicana 2 Bedroom Deluxe are Exceptional. Especially the renovation units. WoW!
From this WM theres hourly shuddle to Orleans Casino.
From Orleans theres their shuddle to Gold Coast and Caesar and back to Orleans. At Rio Casino across street from Gold Coast there are Shuddles to many different Casinos. For anyone. But Rio guest has priority seating.
Gym equipment at WM Trop is pretty cool. You should be happy.
But their rooms are So Happy Happy Happy. Great Layout.. Spacious. I feel most would be satisfied. But read Yelp reviews here to your appropriate fit.
Only one negative. Upstairs foot noise can be heard. BBQ grill is not at your Patio. In very nearby common area. Least for us. Haven't checked out other BBQ areas.
Im not converting to Wyndam Credits. And Keeping WM credits. Based on our needs. Besides we was'nt ready to spend $33,100 to convert. Yelp needs an Entry for "Good and Bads of new Wyndam/WM credits" so Yelp's can relate pitfalls, shortcomings, traps, risks, etc. As well as new benefits and the value usage THEREOF.
I posted some Yelp pictures to establish we were truly residing at this Worldmark. Regards being at Breakfast Promo Presentation.... my stated Knowlwdge Points from attending it can be confirmed easily enough from any your WM friends converting to Wyndam credits.
For us the niceness of our two bedroom deluxe is 5 stars. The Presentation Breakfast was Tasty. The Wyndam sales agent did their jobs. Because Wyndam agents heard from me that their new product would not fit our family needs, usage, cost... they let us go. We actually was offered nicely from Wyndam a Visa card with $125.
If their new Wyndam products is right for you... then hemhaw time away till their best discounts are given to you to make the sale. Cource you may sit there hours. But maybe you save $10,000 plus. We just told them we don't mind paying retail $3.31 credit when we need their product. But we wouldn't nor can use it now.
WYNDAM agents did'nt want to spend anymore time assisting us if a sales at this times could'nt happen.
Interesting is peoples on the Web have spent $30,000, $60,000, $90,000 to convert to WYN credits. And not or can use the added benefits. Some went into Hock without thinking. ie, new maintence fees, etc.
Life is about Enjoying Your Self. But Buy Only what you need and can use. And you need extra $$$ Money to Tour and Eat many, many places. Let Prudence be your Guide.
Why is my review here 4 stars. It seems the right thing to do. Hunching it. And representative of my having to always be Careful when Wyndam sales force are in the mist. I just can't give the 5 Yelp stars. If Wyndam/WM corp rid all their sales forces off residental resort sites... 5 stars would be very, very easy. Afterall they should do any Promo'ing off site. Let Vacationers just vacation.
I would like to express Thank You to Worldmark and Wyndam for offering its members great opportunities to travel and vacation. At excellent Gold Star Resorts, Hotels, Worldwide exchange places. If your family financial situation is at Wyndam level... a World of Experiences will become available to you. If they or family uses their products often... I would think they would Smile much Under the Sun.
