I was underwhelmed.
The overall ambiance was nice. Clean and classic without being overly fancy. That being said, I felt that the food was priced higher than it should have been. I understand it cost more to eat better quality, but this just didn't meet the standard I was expecting for the price point. The service was ok, but it took a really long time for our order to come out. 30 - 45 min. Bubs ordered the crab crepe ($22). He liked it but I was not a fan at all. I ordered the beet salad. Flavors were on point with what I expected, but there really wasn't much food. When I order a salad I imagine a plate with lettuce and fixings. This was a cut up beet with a goat cheese wheel and some arrugala laid on top. Not really worth $19. The best part were the truffle fries. Cooked and seasoned to perfection, they were the saving grace of the meal. My friends ordered the pork chop and the lobster bisque. Both said their food was ok. For the damage it put on my credit card, I was expecting more.
