Still going strong. What I love about this place is that they strive to keep the classic favorites very consistent, while also maintaining an awesome seasonal menu. I've always loved the "izakaya" tradition, and this place brings it on - strong.
We were here a few weeks ago, and I was delighted to see the one thing that I thought had been missing from their menu: a yakitori sampler plate. We ordered one for our table, and were not disappointed. I would absolutely love it if they would expand this offering with a classic robata binchotan grill along the bar eating area, and serve an even more diverse selection of tasty skewers.
Our favorites here are still the takoyaki, the okonomiyaki, and an amazing dish called "butaniku no shogayaki" which is tasty thin slices of pork and onions with a light teriyaki/garlic sauce. It's awesome. That being said, we have never had anything here that was short of delicious. Another great part of the menu are the Japanese beers and a large selection of sake, anything you could possibly want! We'll keep coming back!!!
