  • I was here recently and not in the mood for meat, so I ordered several of their side items. You can order 4 sides for the cost of $9. Order was as follows: Sweet potato fries-cut approximately the size of shoestrings. Lightly salted and a nice mixture of crispy and softly cooked pieces. (I prefer the softly cooked.) There were several in my party, and everyone who sampled them enjoyed them. Baked beans-flavorful with the tangy sweetness of bbq sauce, and small amounts of meat added in. Not sure what type of meat it was, but it was very tender. Sweet creamed corn-corn had a nice smoky, peppery flavor, but the cream sauce seemed a little greasy, and the corn was undercooked. Mac and Cheese-No flavor, just pasta with some cheddar cheese added in. Also had several overcooked bites. Texas toast-Cost $1.00 extra, and they serve you 4 pieces. It was overcooked, almost to the point of being burnt. I also received hush puppies with my order, and they were soft, chewy, with a little bit of sweetness, and very good. Banana pudding-very good, and they serve you a fair amount. I would definitely return just for this!
