| - Great place to take the kids to see dolphins, white tigers, lions, and leopards. The cost of entry is nominal and standard for Las Vegas. They don't offer discounts, i.e. local, military, etc. The main entry way is located next to their pool which is a long walk from their parking garage. Unless you have a local driver's license, expect to pay for your parking at all MGM properties.
Once you enter, you will be greeted by a large pool for the dolphins. We were fortunate enough to arrive at the time the trainers were training the beautiful creatures. There is only a small shade throughout the whole habitat so where a hat. There is also an underground tunnel which will take you at a view under the waves of the pool to see the dolphins.
Once you pass the dolphin exhibit, you will have to walk through a tent where the staff takes your standard photo. After you pass through this area, you will arrive at the main exhibit. The whole visit will take you less than 45 minutes at most.
During our visit, we ran into Siegfried taking photos with the visitors. That was the best part of the trip. His a nice man and he definitely didn't to stand out there in the heat with his coat on, but he loved talking with all the visitors.
BL, like anywhere else in Vegas, bring money, a hate, sunscreen and water. They do have a snack bar there, but you can save yourself a few bucks.
