$2 shrimp cocktails please
My girlfriend took me here on a spontaneous weekend in Vegas. I have had their food before but for take out. Last time was my first experience dining in. We came in on a Saturday around 3pm and there was a short line for a table. Once seated, our friendly waitress came over to take our orders. We went for two shrimp cocktails, shared a cheeseburger with fries, and their month special chocolate strawberry slice of pie. The shrimp cocktails came out prompt. They came out nicely presented in a sundae cup filled to the rim. It was topped with lots of cocktail sauce and some crackers on the side. We asked for horseradish on the side and they gave us a lot quickly. The shrimps tasted like they were from frozen but come on... for $2 each, you can't really complain. The cheeseburgers and fries were nothing special. They were just exactly what it is. Nothing more nothing less. The chocolate strawberry pie though, was divine. Their pies here really are the best.
The total was cheap. The prices are reasonable. I love all their pastries here. There were a lot of people who would buy a bunch of their pastries or pies to go. The service was also great. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of and the food came out fast. The inside is outdated with a totally diner feel. Most of the customers are elderly. There are two dining areas. One closer to the front where the cashier is and one in the back. There are plenty of tables and booths. When we left, there was a long line that formed for people to be seated. Overall, it's been a little hidden gem for us when we want some cheap shrimp cocktails.
