| - I am an experienced customer of spin studios (CycleBar, Soul Cycle), and while the workout of the RPM class was good, and overall the staff was very welcoming and positive, a bit was left to be desired in terms of the studio and how a small renting glitch was handled. The establishment was fine but didn't have any of the perks of most spin studios, at least I didn't notice these perks (ex: free water via a water fountain, a plethora of amenities in the bathroom such as hair ties and high end products, plastic bags for your sweaty clothes, a working shower, etc.). The studio has spin shoes for rent (as a first time client I have never had to pay for renting spin shoes at any other studio) and the shoes I had rented were missing their foot insert. Part way through the workout my feet began to hurt and I wasn't sure of the reason. I only discovered the missing foot insert when I took the shoes off to find out why my feet hurt. When I made the studio aware of the defective shoes, they did not offer to refund the renting fee, which to me would have been standard customer service (to refund a cost for renting a product that was, in part, defective), and they were not aware that the shoes were missing a insert (I would expect a studio to check a product they were renting as a practice). If you are looking for a good workout and friendly staff, but do not expect the perks many spin studios, RPM would be a great fit.
