  • Unknown is a pretty sweet brewery. The atmosphere is relaxed and the beer is great too! This place is huge and has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Not sure how long it's been going on, but there were food trucks and live music on Friday. We didn't eat anything there but there were plenty of people and picnic tables. So if FTF is too crowded at other breweries this is great because there were no long lines! They have a very delicious ginger beer and I never thought I was big on ginger beer. They don't charge tax and I love breweries that build that into their prices already. We went on a tour and it was a good tour. The lady who led it was very funny and knowledgeable about the place. She was great! I don't remember her name but she had blonde hair and has been working their for 2 years. We bought the groupon which was a great deal, but I suggest that they reword the groupon.. You can buy a 2 or 4 person one and it says each person will get each of the following: a tour, t-shirt, pint glass, and flight. When reading that I think anyone would interpret that as each person would get each of those things including a flight for each person.. That apparently is wrong. After the tour we went to the bar and one of the other ladies (don't recall her name but she had short brown hair) was a little rude to us. She seemed inpatient and didn't provide us much info on the beer. Then when we asked for the two flights we thought we were getting she said you only get one. And my boyfriend tried to ask why when it says differently on the groupon and she gave us a little bit of an attitude and said "if you can specifically show me where it says that I'll give it to you but I've been told to only give one flight per groupon". So we just dropped it.. It was fine not getting the other flight and we are very easy going people so we didn't feel like the rudeness was needed.. We just wanted to make sure we were getting what we paid for. Besides that, every time we have gone to Unknown we have had great customer service and great beer! This is definitely a place to try out if you haven't already.
