Because I love great Mexican food and margs, the fella and I had date night here last Friday night. Three Amigos was super packed and busy, but it was all worth the wait!
The space is quite small, and they could easily double their size/seating and still have a full house. We put our names on the list and ordered the house margaritas at the bar while waiting. BE WARNED - the margaritas are fishbowl and are mostly alcohol with a dash of marg mix. This is a pleasant-ish surprise considering most places chintz on the booze. However, I thought it was a little too strong and was glad that we had taken an uber after one sip of it.
Thankfully we just needed a table for two and were able to be seated relatively quickly. Groups of 4+ that were ahead of us had to wait much longer, so I recommend coming with a small number or during off-peak hours.
The guac, queso, and salsa are all really fantastic. I believe my entree was good too, but by the time I finished margarita #1 and started on #2 my taste buds were numbed. I really liked that Three Amigos serves GOOD rice and beans paired with most entree dishes!
Definitely would consider coming back for takeout or more margaritas. Rock on!
