I saw the eye doctor at this location and they were great. LensCrafters on the other hand was HORRIBLE!!! They seem to have some new employees who have no clue what they are doing. I asked to have my new prescription lenses placed into my backup glasses as I am not eligible for new frames through my insurance at this moment. I asked the same for my son's prescription. The girl that helped us totally ignored my request and tried to sell me new frames at a discount. I declined and once again told her what I wanted and why. She seemed upset that she wasn't gaining a sale and walked us to a computer to get started. She typed slower than my 6 year old. Then she gives me total for my lenses but doesn't give me a breakdown of why I am paying close to $200 for lenses with 100% lens coverage through my insurance company. I ask and she turns the computer screen around and just has me look at it. I ask her to explain the three columns ( Our cost, your cost, total savings) as it didn't explain on her screen either. She read what I was seeing on the screen but when I asked what each column was taking into account to come up with the pricing, she couldn't give me a real answer other than to say that the amount I was paying was my savings amount. Well, DUH!! I think I figured that out genius!!! The total wasn't right and when I questioned her, she turned the computer screen back around and said she had to start over because my son's info had disappeared. We had sat at this station for about 20 minutes for something that should've taken about half that time. I asked if it would take long and she said she would try to hurry. Five minutes later I told her we would need to come back another day because this was taking way too long for lenses only. She said ok and got up and left. My son and I were left there gathering our prescriptions and glasses we had taken in as she went behind the fitting counter. I walked out and notice all the other employees gathered around her and she seemed to be playing the victim card. I went back in and asked for the manager who was on vacation until today. I told the group this girl needs additional training because she doesn't seem to know what she is doing and a girl with bright red hair tells me "she's in training." I told her she needs better training and needs to learn a thing or two about customer service to which their only reply was "ok. Sorry." Needless to say, we will never go to this location again.
