Here are my issues with the place: 1) the AC/Heater unit made so many different noises that I had to play the radio to sleep...varied from cold to the summer tropics as well; 2) there was blood stained into the mattress side; 3) the Wi-Fi does not work...even the front desk person warned about it; 4) TV has like 12 channels, 3 being Fox; 5) Bedspread is old, is clearly not washed between guests and there are no other covers for when it is cold. This is next to a RV park that is principally seniors escaping the cold. It also appears to be housing for people with housing vouchers from the government. The front desk had me wait for this room as it "was a good one." Lord knows what the bad ones must be.
While there are worse places to stay, the average 1.5 star rating is deserved. Whoever owns this place should sell it so that a quality owner can take care of his property. Even when telling the VERY NICE front desk clerk what was wrong with my room, there was no apology - more of an acknowledgement that they place is what it is.
I'm one night and done.
