  • Rob was my estimator - he came out twice and we spent a lot of time talking about the job. He was a nice guy, seemed very sincere and I could tell he really wanted to earn my business - so I hired them. Day before the job began, I was contacted by Adan, saying that Rob was no longer with the company. Adan assured me he would be there in the morning before the job began so we could walk through with me once to make sure we were all on the same page since Rob was now gone. Adan flaked, painters showed up and got started with the prep work. I was told the job would take 3 days tops. There was some confusion about the color choice after the painting began, and I spoke with the owner at length about re-painting with the correct color. He made some generous concessions and said they could re-paint if I paid for half of the new paint, and he would eat the lost labor cost. I ended up sticking with the color bc I didn't want to pay the extra $ and have the job take that much more time. The job took 5 days. They missed a big spot on my patio cover. They killed one of my potted Spanish daggers that I've been growing for two years. Drops of paint all over my patio, some over-spray on my windows, and a poor clean up job. Filled both of my 80 gallon trash/recycling to the brim with their garbage. The house looks pretty good despite these disappointments. Friday after the work was complete (aside from the spot they missed) Adan started calling to collect the remaining $ for the work. I told him when the job is finished, he can have the check. Adan showed up Saturday AM unannounced, told me he needs to 'get paid', blamed me for the missed spot because I was unavailable for a walk-through despite having two final walk-through with the lead painter. Adan hit the missed spot with one coat of paint and ignored me when I asked why he was not going to prime the missed spot and give it two coats like the rest of the house.
