The ambiance in this restaurant is nice. The servers are kind and accommodating but the 2 STAR rating is really based on the food. Being Thai and understanding how the food is going to taste gives you high expectations of any Thai restaurant. But Weera just misses the mark. I took my mom here and we order a lot of food to eat. The portions were humongous! Which can be a good or bad thing. We did the appetizer combo. But the Crab Rangoon was all cream cheese and no crab. The dipping sauces confusing. My moms pork came out and it was dry and overcooked. They charged $3 for sticky rice. But I get it, it's a restaurant. My duck noodle soup was not what I expected. The soup was so...bland. It was not what I wanted so I just took it home to fix it.
Overall, if you're not Thai or have super high expectations, I would recommend the lunch special. It's good pricing. But the rest is a bit much for not so over the top food.
