  • It's so rare after the age of 15 to find something you would genuinely define as a fascinating flavor. The Dan Dan Noodles with Numbing Spicy Sauce at Beijing Noodle No.9 is exactly that. It's not numbing in the way that you would expect from some Dave's Insanity Sauce crap. It makes your tongue tingle in a fantastic, citrus-y kind of way. It's a completely new flavor, which, for somebody who's been eating for 40 years, is a treat. Soup dumplings and shrimp siu mai, and mochi are also delicious. Not too pricey either.
