| - Jay H. and his mom swear by the sandwiches at this place, but from what I've seen so far, everything here is good.
Le Peep is a chain, but it's run by individual franchise owners. The one here in Charlotte takes a lot of pride in her business, which you'll know right away when you meet her and her staff members. The service here is excellent. And the food. The food! There's plenty of it in every dish, and it's all made with fresh ingredients. Jay H. always gets the portobello panini, with its perfectly marinated 'shrooms. I've tried a few different breakfast items, and have always been happy. Highlights for me are the french toast and the Wanderer skillet, with fresh veggies and crisp potatoes. And they give you a whole pot of coffee, which means there's no waiting around for refills.
There's always a crowd here for weekend brunch, and in this case, trust the masses: for brunch in south Charlotte, this place is the best.
