| - Okay, so, online and through yelp it says they open at 7am. I call a day ahead an schedule an appointment for 7am because I have a lot of errands to run mid afternoon. I show up promptly and the guy who looks like he just woke up stated he is "still opening up the store and if I could take a seat". Sure no problem.. 10 mins go by and it's still a ghost town and that's when I ask the guy if someone would be able to look at my car soon? Again, he states that the "techs are just running a little late". Okay, so then WHY did I make an appointment at 7 and why does your companies website state that you open at 7 but ALL of your techs can't show up at 7 but your customers can?
Any who I decide to walk over to jiffy-lube across the way and they literally wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for the service I was asking for. So that was a waste of time.. I know I'm a female but I know when someone is clearly ripping me off. Not to mention, the guy at jiffy-lube said that big o tires have been having MAJOR issues with their employees showing up. So whatever I'm kinda in a pickle at the moment since there are only a few shops open, so I walk back over to big o tires in hopes that by now SOMEONE would have shown up.. by the way, the time is 7:20. The guy at the front greeted me again and said "sorry still no one has shown up but we can pull your car in the garage so when they get here they can start it ASAP"
So let me get this straight, you wanna hold my car hostage in this garage so I can bank on the fact that someone is going to show up for their shift? As if I have nothing else to do but sit here in the waiting room because their employees can't show up for their shift. Yeah, no thanks! I ask the guy if I can make an appointment to come back later since they have no idea on how to run the business in the morning. He told me "yes I can change your appointment schedule". Guess what.. he didn't. In fact, he didn't even know my name! So how do you know which appointment to change? So finally at 725-730 I decided to just up and leave. I mean why can't their employees show up on time but their customers can? I'm not being paid to be there, in fact I'm trying to pay them!
Soooo to conclude my crappy morning I made an appointment with Midas later in the day and I was in and out in 15 mins. Oh and by the way, this was all over a stupid oil change. So my recommendation is just save yourself some time and just go somewhere else. Oh and don't forget that Midas has coupons their website!
