| - Soergel's is such a fun location to check out no matter what season it is. Whether you're on a mission for something in particular or you just want to spend a relaxing day looking around, you are sure to love this place!
Apple orchard, grocery store, gift shop, you name it - Soergel's has it all! Soergel's is basically a campus of different small buildings, and you could honestly spend hours browsing. First off, the grocery store is lovely and full of both homemade baked goods and local treats that you can't get just anywhere. The produce is extremely fresh, and the employees are helpful if you have a question. The grocery store is connected to a home goods store that has all kinds of charming décor, and I love that the wares change seasonally. Another building I love to peruse at Soergel's is the garden center, which is near and dear to my heart since I actually worked in a greenhouse for many summers in high school and college. The plants at Soergel's are high quality, and I always appreciate the knowledge of the workers in this shop. They have great suggestions on caring for your plants and are very friendly. Other great features of Soergel's include a separate grocery shop with organic/health foods, and a quaint gift barn with clothing, candles, and other small gifts.
One of the things that I love about Soergel's is that it's open year-round. Many orchards are only open in the fall for apple and pumpkin picking, but with Soergel's you can enjoy browsing in all seasons. Arsenal Cider has been a perfect addition here; even though I live in Lawrenceville near the original Arsenal Cider, I still enjoy checking this location out when I'm in the area. Soergel's can get a little busy at times, particularly during the summer and autumn months, but as long as you're not in a rush it's still worth a visit on a weekend.
Overall, Soergel's is one of my favorite places in the North Hills to spend a relaxing day at any time of the year. Be sure to check it out!
