I have to applaud Eat Unique for trying to bring healthy food to a city known for its French fries salads. That said, my visit left much to be desired. I went with my boyfriend during one of our short-lived health kicks. He got some chicken sandwich that wasn't bad, but just kind of mediocre. My hummus sandwich, on the other hand, may have been the worst hummus I've had in recent memory. Just as I never understand why Pad See Ew is sugary sweet in some Thai restaurants, I will never understand why the hummus at Eat Unique tasted like it was full of sugar instead of tahini. I have a sweet tooth the size of Canada, but hummus should never be as sweet as it was at Eat Unique.
