Bought a slightly used 2016 Gibson SG. Was previously owned for a few months and returned. I was told it was bought new from the store and returned. However I came to find out it had been bought from a store in Indiana and was just a trade in. Also was told it still had a warranty and I came to find out I do not have a warranty on it because the guy who owned it for a month already registered the guitar and warranty is not transferable to me. Little disappointed they lied about its original location of purchase and not having a warranty is pretty lame to say the least. I recommend getting the extra insurance plan. It's at most a hundred dollars and covers everything which you can only get at time of purchase. So in my case since I don't have a warranty on this brand new Gibson it's good I got the extra plan or I'd be up A creek without a paddle. Not a terrible experience, just some things that others may want to be aware of.
