  • I absolutely love this place. The amazing beer brewed in house, the authentic food, the stage music. Everything. I stopped in on my long drive home from Thanksgiving since I knew I would be driving through Pittsburgh. So glad I did! I started with some warm, soft pretzels and beer cheese and a half litre of Dunkel (a house brew) that never fails to be delicious. Then went with the Bavarian platter for two that included some delicious sauerkraut, spatzle, schnitzel, fried cabbage, pork loin, and wursts! Overall a very nice spread and everything was extremely satisfying. Typically though based on past experiences I would favor the Jagerschnitzel. It's deeeelicious. The real winner of this whole experience though is the dessert. Apple strudel that is so to-die for. Warm, perfectly sweet and satisfying. This is the one thing you HAVE to try if you are coming here. Hofbrauhaus is an amazing German experience you have to try!
