| - They do not stand by their products. I purchased a mattress from A1 in 2011, which had a supposedly lifetime warranty. This was also an extremely expensive mattress, which I remember the store owner saying well if you're gonna buy a bed, might as well just do it once. As in, this was supposed to last longer than a few years. I also bought several other pieces of furniture, for a total near $3000. Now, 4.5 years later, the mattress is fully sagging in the middle, it has basically turned into a bed hammock. Of course the lifetime warranty turned out to be a sham, and I basically just got a bunch of excuses from them about the bed company going out of business and them therefore not being legally required to help me. Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer to do business with a seller that actually WANTS to help me and doesn't just do so because they are legally required. So basically, they sold me a $1600 mattress from a sketchy company that soon after went out of business, and all they can say when it breaks is sorry for the inconvenience??
As a side note, the couch I bought also had a huge rip after two years, foam popping out etc. And I had a traveling job so I was almost never actually there to sit on it. So in other words, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I am all for supporting local businesses, but I have never been treated this way or received products this crummy from any chain stores. Businesses that don't respect their customers don't usually stay in business - I'd advise avoiding this one and certainly don't buy anything expensive under false warranty pretenses
