| - All of the tea shops in this city certainly are overwhelming...do I have to resmell every flavour again, or are they basically the same? Can I get a tea to go, or is it just loose? Do you have snacks?
To start, this tea shop is very busy! It's located on a bustling strip of Queen West, which is convenient but a bit slow. Like most tea shops, they have a good selection of tea cups, mugs, pots, and filters. They also have little shot glass samples of the tea around the store to let you smell. They have a little cafe in the back where they make the hot teas, tea lattes, and iced teas. There are also a few tables and chairs back there if you want to stay. You have to line up at the front of the store for a cup of tea first though. They also sell cookies - which looked pretty good.
I was in the mood for peppermint chocolate rooibos, but they were out, so I settled for double chocolate rooibos - it was NOT very good. I think I was hoping it'd taste more like a double chocolate donut... it didn't. I did manage to buy a tin of the peppermint chocolate to take home, which was very good (they redeemed themselves there). They also have a roasted almond tea with beet root that looks/smells exactly like Forever Nuts at David's, if you're into that.
