I booked my room for a weekend stay while I was attending a pool tournament in the area. By my mistake I booked for the wrong weekend. I called Expedia with who I usually go with, They said they would contact the hotel and see if my reservation could be changed to the week before where it was meant to be. They were told by the baymont staff that the only way they could move my reservation was if I upgraded to a suite for another 70.00. I was a little pressed so I agreed, I figured why not it was kinda my fault.
I got to the hotel and was immediately impressed with the lounge area past the lobby. Was very modern and updated. The hallway to my room looked more upscale than your usual hotel.
The room itself was very nice and very large. My first thought was it was like a small apartment. Big bed, 2 tvs, sitting area, kitchen with stovetop, microwave, full refrigerator and cabinets.
Bathroom was also upgraded and nice. Including air powered toilet. Shower pressure of course...was weak.
Main problem outside of them not being more considerate about my reservation issue was the bed, yes it was huge, but it was not comfortable. On the stiff side and not easy to sleep on.
I would stay again, but would really hope for a softer mattress.
